In the near future of Neo Tokyo, the vicious mercenaries of Team Phantom carry out a campaign of terror on behalf of the criminal organization known as the Cartel. Standing against them is Kaoru Mikoshiba—a former tennis champion left for dead alongside her scientist fiancé, who uses his final moments to transform her into the armored cyborg Lady Battle Cop. Driven by vengeance, Kaoru wages a one-woman war against the men who destroyed her life. But when the Cartel unleashes Amadeus, a psychotic superhuman killer armed with devastating psychic powers, Lady Battle Cop must face an enemy every bit as unstoppable as she has become.
Toei’s first tokusatsu V-Cinema production, Lady Battle Cop fuses hard-edged, revenge-driven storytelling with the explosive action and elaborate hero design of the studio’s legendary superhero productions. Featuring action direction by tokusatsu veteran Osamu Kaneda and an unforgettable armored heroine created by visionary artist Keita Amemiya, Lady Battle Cop is a RoboCop inspired cult classic unlike anything else in Toei’s heroic pantheon. (81 minutes).
